Best Friends Forever

My work week is bizarre to say the least. I was off from work Saturday and Sunday, I went to work for a short (8 hour) day today, I am off tomorrow, work another short one Wednesday, then off Thursday for Things-taking Day (which is no vacation believe me, with all the family driving about that both Joshua and I have to do.).

I'm antsy tonight. I want to sleep, because I always want to sleep (we're talking "forever and ever" sleep here), but at the same time my mind is far too active for sleep to really work right now. Instead I am sitting here in the dimly lit studio watching Event Horizon on my computer and thinking about starting in on another zombie plush. The first one is what you could call finished, I mean I could work on him forever and never feel done, but I don't know how much I like him. Which is terribly sad for me, since I put so much work into designing him. Although he is quite a good deal better than this guy (my first zombie plush made without pattern).



I just find it far too easy to be way too hard on myself, I guess. I will take some photos of the little guy tomorrow, there isn't enough light to show him in all of his gory glory. I figure if I cut out most of the pieces tonight for him, I can get started tomorrow and maybe finish him in the half the time it took to make his prototype. I just want it to be perfect, gory but adorable.

But, who knows... I may feel the urge to sleep may be a bit stronger. Meaning, I may just go crawl into my heated bed with Joshua and read for an hour or two. I always did work better in the wee hours of the morning rather than the late hours of the evening.

Oh, indecision you're my only friend...
